Although the Google Chromium OS has been developed for many years now, not many industry leaders are adopting this particular operating system in their merchandises, as clearly, the OS isn’t really that attractive indeed. Nevertheless, Kogan, an Australian firm, has just recently announced the world’s first Chromium OS-based laptop, dubbed as the Agora.
Basically, the Agora comes with specifications that are somewhat ancient, namely a 1.3GHz Celeron processor, 1GB RAM, and also 30GB SSD. The Agora has a 11.6-inch screen, SD card reader, 3.5-hour battery life, webcam, HDMI output, and also Bluettoth connectivity. Also, the Agora will be available in Australia and the UK for a listed price of AUD 349, about $372, and £269, about $440. Of course, you can opt for a different operating system other than the Google Chromium for the Agora, whereby you can browse for alternatives through Kogan’s online store.
