With President Barack Obama’s Democratic defeat in one of the United States, I believe that this somehow sent a strong message to the President. Generally, the President was too focused on his plans to revolutionize the healthcare system in the country, but sadly the entire overhaul took too much time to be implemented, which created a drag in the overall administration.
Nevertheless, the President is aware of the message that the public is sending, and he has send out a strong message that the government’s next primary focus is to create more jobs in the economy.

There are so many types of RV models in the market, and I have driven quite a number of RVs in my lifetime. Personally, I dislike driving an oversized RV, as the RV is rather bulky and difficult to negotiate around the corners. Of course, there are so many smaller RVs in the market, which comes equipped with good features, as well as a luxurious interior. These smaller RVs are perfect for couples, as they can easily drive these rvs for vacation across the country. And as for a football enthusiast like me, I can’t live without my TV, thus the RV that I rented in the past, always come equipped with satellite TV services. Just imagine driving your RV to the national park which is filled with lustrous greeneries, this is surely a vacation of a lifetime. And with your RV parked right beside the lake, you can always take a dip down at the cool lake on a hot day. Well I’m already planning for my next RV trip in the near future, and hopefully, the RV that I am planning to rent will be available on my vacation dates. Remember Gary Coleman – the child actor who couldn’t grow up? Well it seems that Gary Coleman was arrested recently for the failure to show up at court. On the other hand, Coleman posted the $1,725 bail and was released on Monday afternoon.
According to sources, it seems that Gary Coleman was arrested at his home, however, not details on the arrest was released by the authorities. But the warrant that was used for the arrest clearly states that Coleman was to be arrested for domestic violence.

Recently, the Republican governor of California has proposed that the local government should send prisoners to Mexico, as the existing prison system in the state is pretty overcrowded. Arnold Schwarzenegger mentioned that the Californian government can save at least $1 billion dollars in taxpayer’s money if 20,000 undocumented inmates were to be sent to Mexico.
According to Arnold Schwarzenegger, he mentioned that the cost of setting up a prison system in Mexico would be approximately $500 million, but the potential savings would be tremendous.
Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger is trying to explain that the Californian government is running on a $19.9 billion budget deficit and that the government is formulating ways to save money for the state and this is where the idea of sending prisoners to Mexico came in.

With President Obama’s party receiving a rude shock just a week earlier due to the defeat in Massachusetts to Republican Scott Brown, the president is hard at work in ensuring that the people in the country receive incentives and other help, so that the impact from the recent economic recession can be soften considerably.
Earlier, Obama announced that families that are earning under the $85,000 margin, will receive child care tax credit. On the other hand, Obama also announced that the government has allocated a whopping $1.6 billion additional funds for the child care programs.
Personally, I think that this is a good start for Obama, even though they lost Massachusetts, which was a traditionally Democrat stronghold.

Although the stock market has somewhat recovered from collapse, the unemployment rate in the country remains an all time high. Figures suggested that the 10% unemployment ratio did not budge, even with the government’s effort in creating more jobs in the market.
Nevertheless, President Obama got a rude shock for his campaign lately, whereby not only he lost a state, he also learned that the public is sending a strong message that they want more jobs!
Personally, I believe that Obama should make his job campaigns more effective. Although he said that jobs are being created through the multi-billion stimulus packages, the unemployment rates say otherwise.

Just last year, three of my best friends got married as they wanted to start their family before they hit 30. Well I have been invited to their weddings, and I can say that the setup that they chose was awesome. And prior to the wedding day, my friends even sent me exotic looking wedding invitation cards, which I think is very unique and beautiful. And during their wedding ceremony, everything went smoothly, with clock work precision. Well this prompted me to do my own research on how I would like to organize my own wedding reception. Surprisingly, there are so many programs that you can opt for and although these programs are cheap, the entire setup is still very presentable and professional indeed. In one of the latest developments involving the search engine giant Google, it seems that the company has disclosed that they might be closing down their office in China, after the company has disputes over China’s internet censorship. On the other hand, Google mentioned that they will not filter anymore of China’s internet searches, and they are betting that the government might budge in to their demands – else they’ll just wrap up in China.
Of course, the Chinese government has indirectly responded that they will not change any of China’s internet censorship policies, and that the internet has degraded so much overtime that ‘bad’ sites need to be blacklisted from searches.
I have a hunch that Google might somehow be ‘tamed’ by the Chinese government, after all, the Chinese market is valued at a whopping $600 million dollars in revenue a year, and increasing.

I notice that senior citizens tend to be less agile and some even have extensive mobility problems. Personally, I find such problems to be particularly worrisome, especially when a senior is trying to climb up or down the stairs. And relating this back to my grandmother, I remember how she met so many harrowing experiences when climbing the stairs, and these experiences made me wish that I could do something for her. Of course, this prompted me to extend my search online, and I found out that you can in fact opt for a stair lift that can help senior citizens to climb up or down the steps. I find such mechanical aid to be very useful indeed, whereby it will transport a person up or down the stairs, without placing them in danger. The Obama administration has already disbursed several hundreds of billions of dollars in aid money, to help ailing banks from crumbling after succumbing to the 2008-2009 recession. Generally, with so much money sent out to help these banks, Obama has in fact told these banks that the government wants the money back.
Generally, some of these banks have already repaid part of the bailout money, but majority of the money has yet to be recovered from these banks. Although the market condition has improved, banks have yet to recover from toxic assets and a slowdown in the overall economy.

It seems Haiti has been hit by a strong earthquake which measures 7.0 on the Richter scale. The powerful earthquake shattered the Haiti capital city, and thousands are feared trapped inside rubbles. We’ve seen GM hit by one of the worst economic disasters in history. Of course, GM was close to collapse just last year if not for the government support. Nevertheless, since the economic disaster is far behind now, GM has disclosed that they might reopen some factories.
Generally, GM’s president did not disclose on which factory they will reopen, but he did mention that the company is struggling to cope with the increase in demand for some of its vehicles.
Close to 14 factories were closed last year by GM, and with better economics prospect ahead, I believe that GM might reopen close to a third of their factories. And with GM reopening their factories, perhaps the unemployment ratio will dip further, starting the next quarter this year?

A friend of mine came to visit me and my family just a couple of days ago, and I found out that she got a job at the social welfare department. It seems that the country’s social welfare system has improved tremendously, whereby if you are serious in pursuing a career in the respective field, you’ll need to sit for the social work exam. On the other hand, the social work exam even comes with several levels, whereby if you pass certain exams these will grant you a Bachelor’s degree to up to the Masters level. Nevertheless, sitting for the exam isn’t really a nightmare, as according to my friend, she mentioned that you can always opt for guides which are readily available on the internet, which can ultimately help you to pass the exams. Generally, I’m not really fond of working for the social welfare department, but still, I think that this career path is a very noble and interesting one indeed. |

I’m pretty sure that most of us are aware that the economy is picking steam again, and that more industries are consuming more gasoline for this particular period of time. And judging by the fact that the price of gas has hit the $80 mark, it will be soon that the price per gallon for gasoline will hit the $3 mark, anytime soon.
On the other hand, judging by the fact that most of the northern part of the country is hit with severe cold weather, the heating bill for these areas is presumably to increase over time. And with the increment in heating bill, making heat consumes gas, and this also will significantly push the price per barrel for gas up further for this quarter of the year.

When I was 15, I used to skateboard around my home and to the nearest shopping mall. To tell you the truth, I love speed and the thrill of performing tough skateboarding tricks, as I find true satisfaction from these activities. Of course, I can’t really skateboard now as age has really caught up with me and I’m not that agile anymore. But I can say that one of my fondest skateboarding experiences come from longboard skateboards. These longboards are so easy to skate, something that resembles a longboard surfing board. It can give you good stability and I like it when these skateboards slide so fast down the hill, it gives me a huge adrenalin rush. Although longboards are pretty tough to perform skateboarding tricks, still, if you are good and experienced enough, I’m pretty sure the length of the longboard will not stop you from performing these skateboarding tricks. |

I’m pretty sure that everyone is aware that President Obama is one of the United States Presidents which emphasizes in creating a much greener environment for the country. Of course, under the President’s energy scheme, it seems that the President will be unveiling a clean energy tax credit for the economy, and this particular tax credit will total at a whopping $2.3 billion dollars.
Judging by the fact that the tax credits will create as many as 17,000 jobs in the market, I’m pretty sure that the tax credits that will be awarded to eligible companies are well spent.

Just when the economy prospects continue to improve, UPS has disclosed that their organization will be slashing 1,800 jobs from their overall workforce. UPS also disclosed that the slash in jobs will mostly affect their management and administrative department. UPS mentioned that this particular exercise is in-line with their plans to reposition themselves as the market gradually recovers.
And as part of the employee separation scheme, as many as 1,100 workers will be given a voluntary separation package. According to the statistics released by UPS, as many as 408,000 works for the organization worldwide, whereby 340,000 of these workers are situated in the United States alone.

According to the latest data released by Best Buy, it seems that the retailing giant has recorded an increase in sales for the month of December 2009, whereby the company posted a rise in overall sales by as much as 13 percent, or simply $8.5 billion. On the other hand, Best Buy also mentioned that their online revenue has increased by as much as 34 percent for the month.
Personally, I believe that this is a positive sign that Best Buy is in fact profiting and performing marginally better, when compared to the similar month at 2008. With their revenue steadily increasing, this also signifies that consumers are spending more money for December as compared to a year ago.

It seems that around 85,000 people lost their jobs for the month of December last year, whereby employers are still wary over their hiring scheme, which resulted in the employment slump. Of course, this particular figure also signifies that there are far lesser people who are out of jobs for the month of December, when compared to the previous months.
Personally, I believe that the job economy is on the road to recovery – it’s slow, but surely. Well I’m pretty sure that companies will fire up their hiring scheme in the next couple of months, if the economy shows promising prospects for the next couple of months.

It seems that the market upbeat has somehow influenced the overall market performances, whereby the FTSE saw a record breaking feat which sees the stock jumping 100 points or 0.35 percent to 5,519.55 points. Of late, the local convention center is buzzing with activities as there are so many organizers who came and set up their trade show displays for one of the biggest furniture expo in my area. Guess what – it seems that the tallest building on earth has been given the official opening ceremony by its respective parties. Of course, the Dubai Tower measures a whopping half a mile high, or rather 2,717 feet (828 meters). I have not met a single car accident for the past 3 years and I can say that I’m fortunate enough to be able to avert so many ‘near-misses’ on the road.
