I met up with a good friend of mine the other day for a cup of tea, and he asked me for some advice on how to decorate his newly renovated home. Apparently, he needs some advice on how to uplift the entire outlook for his windows. Also, he told me that he had limited budget to decorate his windows, due to the fact that he had spend a sizable amount of money remodeling his home. Basically, I told my friend that he should look for something rather simple, as a simple design would definitely complement his house’s outlook. Also, I don’t think curtains would give my friend’s home a rather unique outlook, thus I recommended roman blinds instead. In fact, Roman blinds are very easy to setup and it is also very easy to maintain as well. Also, most do-it-yourself stores sell Roman blinds, whereby my friend can easily purchase these blinds off the shelves. Furthermore, using Roman blinds on the windows is more cost effective as compared to using conventional fabric-based curtains, as clearly, these blinds are very durable and can be used for years. Well my good friend is already shopping for some Roman blinds for his home, and I just hope that he can find a good design for his Roman blinds. |

LG is certainly revving up the smartphone market, whereby sources have mentioned that the company might be releasing up to 10 smartphones by this year’s end. Basically, LG has been pouring several millions of dollars into their R&D department, whereby the company hopes to come up with more smartphones for the future, and they even set a target of selling 5 million units for the last quarter of this year.
On the other hand, it also seems that LG might be incorporating the Tegra-based chips into their high-end model. Also, the lower-end Optimus One will be kicking the market this September, with a targeted distribution channel of over 120 carriers globally. And most surprisingly, LG will also develop a tablet for Q4 this year, however, detailed specifications for the tablet is still somewhat scarce at the moment.

Google’s Froyo has definitely created tremendous amount of buzz in the smartphone market, whereby more and more devices are being updated to run on the latest mobile operating system. Basically, it seems that the Droid Incredible would also be updated with the latest Froyo operating system, whereby sources have indicated that this particular update would be made available, in as early as August the 18th.
Personally, I’m anticipating the Froyo update whereby consumers can expect the operating system to deliver extended functionality. Also, it seems that Verizon might be dishing out the update pretty soon, whereby the company has made plans to distribute the update in small batches to consumers.

To tell you the truth, I am having a storage crisis! Basically, I moved into my new home a couple of months ago, and I have been collecting various types of furniture ever since. Basically, whenever I go shopping for some new furniture, I find it to be rather irresistible to purchase beautiful and exclusive-looking furniture. And within a couple of months of intensive shopping, my furniture has accumulated to the point that I no longer have enough personal space to live comfortably inside my home. Well I told a good friend of mine about my storage crisis, and he ingeniously told me that I can in fact extend my storage space, simply by renting some personal storage units. Basically, these Storage Edinburgh units are available for rent, whereby users can store various items inside the personal storage space. In fact, the respective company that I am currently liaising with told me that they have storage units which are huge enough to store my furniture. Also, I find the rental price to be somewhat affordable, which is perfect for a middle class income earner like me. And surprisingly, the respective storage company even provides free van hiring services as well, which is truly indispensable to me as I need a huge van to shift my stuff. |

A magnitude 7 earthquake struck and devastated Haiti on January 12 this year, and this particular earthquake not only destroyed countless of homes, but it also killed 300,000 people in the process. Basically, homes in Haiti are not meant to withstand earthquakes, whereby majority of the citizens live in shacks and flimsy homes which are torn apart during the earthquake.
Nevertheless, the IMF has earlier disclosed that they are planning to cancel the $268 million in debt. On the other hand, the IMF will even pump in another $60 million for the country to reconstruct its infrastructure. Basically, the IMF hopes that the aid contributions will encourage more contributions from countries around the world.

Just recently, my dad enthusiastically suggested to me that we should get a RV, so that we can use it for family trips across the states. In fact, I remember him telling me that he wanted to buy a RV since a decade ago, but due to family obligations, he put his dreams aside. Personally, I believe that we should rent a RV instead, as renting a RV is easier, and we do not even need to maintain the RV regularly. Based on my initial research, it seems that there are so many types of RVs in the market, such as standard motorhomes, premium RVs, mid-sized RVs, and even full-sized RVs. On the other hand, it’s pretty cheap to rent a RV for vacation, and I also find the local rv rentals to be rather enticing indeed. Also, I find these RVs to be rather versatile as it can travel on most terrains, and it also comes equipped with all the necessary facilities needed for a camping trip, such as a comfortable toilet, a kitchen area, a dining area, and even sleeping compartments. And since most of our vacation destinations are more than 10 hours away, I believe that a RV is perfect for such vacation, as we can easily swap drivers along the way. |

If you have been anticipating the latest netbooks from ASUS and Acer, I believe that you’d be delighted to know that netbooks from these two computer giants will be available sometime in August.
